Why me
I live the job every day
I manage an escape room in Lyon. Briefings, GM management, prop maintenance, scheduling — I'm on the ground every day, and it changes the way I code. I know what a tool that runs 50 times a week looks like, what a GM needs when a game goes sideways, or how much a breakdown costs during peak hours.
Simple to use, solid in practice
A good escape room tool is one a new GM picks up in 10 minutes and that won't let you down on a Friday night at 10pm. That's my priority when I design and when I code.
You stay in control
The code for your website and tools belongs to you and is delivered documented, on your own repository. If tomorrow you want to switch providers, evolve in-house, or take back control, you can. My goal is not to make you dependent but to offer a long-term partnership — by choice, not by constraint.
FAQ
I don't know anything about tech — can we still work together?
Yes, and that's often the case. My role is precisely to spare you from learning tech. We discuss your needs in plain language, I propose a solution, I deliver something simple to use. The back-office is designed to be picked up without any technical skills.
How long from first contact to delivery?
It depends on the project and how fast validations happen on your side. As a rough guide: 4 to 6 months for a website with booking system, 3 to 4 months for an integrated GM dashboard, 1 to 2 months for a custom electronic module. I give you a precise estimate in the quote, with a milestone-based timeline we follow together.
What if I want to evolve my tools in 6 months, 2 years?
That's planned for. The code is yours, it's documented, it's structured to evolve. You can come back to me for upgrades, or hand the work to another developer if you prefer — either way it'll be doable. I also offer an optional monthly maintenance contract for clients who want a single point of contact over time.
Why you rather than an off-the-shelf solution like 4escape, Bookeo, etc.?
SaaS solutions are convenient to start with, but they charge commissions or permanent subscriptions, and lock you into their way of doing things. A custom tool costs more upfront, but pays for itself within 12 to 24 months depending on your volume, and it's tailored to your processes. I'll help you run the numbers honestly: if your volume doesn't justify custom, I'll tell you.
Where are you based? Do you work remotely?
I'm based in Lyon, but I work with venues across France. Design and development are done remotely, with regular video check-ins. For electronic modules, I ship the hardware by carrier and stay available to support installation remotely.
